Prácticas pedagógicas de la enseñanza religiosa escolar (ERE) en cuarto, quinto y sexto año de Educación General Básica, en la Unidad Educativa Fisco-misional “San Vicente Ferrer” de la ciudad de Puyo, provincia de Pastaza

This research aims to know how the pedagogical practices of Religious School Teaching (RST) are developed in 4th, 5th and 6th grade of Basic General Education (BGE) in the Government/Religious Educational San Vicente Ferrer Unit, in Puyo city, Pastaza province, theoretically grounding the meaning and importance of religious school teaching. An ethnographic method has been used for this research, using several tools of observation and data collection. The result of this research has shown that even though there are teachers who use suitable and creative pedagogical resources to communicate the contents to the students, there are many who do not value this subject and therefore are not able to motivate them. They are not sufficiently prepared in the (BGE) in terms of subject-matter. It is advisable to value more by the Institution this subject-matter and to do what is possible to train the teachers in the religious school education, in religious contents and religious pedagogy. This research highlights the importance of RST for a holistic formation of the student in the way that not only technical and academic contents are necessary for their formation but religious culture and Christian values.La presente investigación tiene como objeto conocer cómo se desarrollan las prácticas pedagógicas de ERE (Enseñanza Religiosa Escolar) en 4°, 5°, y 6° año de (EGB) de la Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional “San Vicente Ferrer”, de la ciudad de Puyo, provincia de Pastaza, fundamentando teóricamente el significado y la importancia de enseñanza religiosa escolar. Se ha empleado para este trabajo un método etnográfico, utilizando varias herramientas de observación y recopilación de datos. El resultado de la investigación ha demostrado que aunque hay profesores que emplean recursos pedagógicos adecuados y creativos para comunicar los contenidos a los alumnos, hay un gran porcentaje que no valoran esta materia y por lo tanto no son capaces de motivar a los alumnos. Tampoco están suficientemente preparados en la ERE en cuanto a contenidos. Se aconseja valorar más por parte de la Institución esta materia y hacer lo posible por preparar a los profesores en la enseñanza religiosa escolar en contenidos religiosos y pedagogía religiosa. En el trabajo se resalta la importancia de la ERE para una formación integral del alumno en cuanto que no solo los contenidos técnicos y académicos son necesarios para su formación sino la cultura religiosa y los valores cristianos
